Jenny Carter

Jenny Carter

Jenny has been with Synexus since its founding. She works with businesses across the country to help them navigate and manage monthly sales and use tax compliance. She is often “the voice” that our clients hear most often and come to rely on and is one of the most positive people you’ll ever meet. Jenny primarily focuses on processing client data and overseeing the return filing process for her compliance team. She also helps businesses navigate notices, audits, VDA processes and any other sales tax consulting needs. She is a member of the Institute of Professionals in Taxation (ITP) and focuses her work on monthly sales tax compliance.

Tim Howe

Tim Howe

Tim is the Co-Founder of Synexus and has built his career around tax, technology, and advisory services for business. He spent time as the Director of Operational Tax for a large franchise restaurant company in Atlanta that doesn’t sell chicken on Sundays. He has provided indirect tax services to a wide range of clients in the manufacturing, restaurant, hospitality, power and utilities, software, and financial services areas just to name a few. Tim is a frequent speaker and presenter on issues and emerging trends in the sales and use tax arena and has a way of clearing through the clutter and implifying compliance challenges for business leaders. Tim stays involved in organizations that focus on indirect tax issues including Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and the Council On State Taxation (COST).
